In 2016, ADD-IT replaced several Dutch government storage systems with Fusion Storage. These systems provided backup storage and shared CIFS/SAMBA storage. The project achieved a 200% performance improvement and substantial cost savings. More efficient components also made the systems significantly more energy efficient than those previously used.
Low-latency systems

PCIe fabric storage
This solution uses at least two dedicated storage nodes, with a storage node capable of controlling 2048 SAS/SATA drives and 640 NVMe drives in a multi-layer storage architecture. It supports several configurations, including HA active-active and active-passive clusters.
In 2019, ADD-IT built and delivered a turnkey PCIe fabric cluster for a government forensic institute, replacing a virtual SAN solution consisting of 12 servers.
At a fraction of the cost, the two-node solution with FPCIE 3D scalable technology delivered a 500% improvement in performance and throughput compared with the previous systems.
