Rijkscloudbeleid
The Netherlands has tightened its central-government cloud policy, with stronger attention to jurisdiction, critical workloads and exit planning. Its scope is central government; other organisations can use the same questions to assess their own dependencies.

EU Open Source Strategy
Europe is putting open-source alternatives, procurement and long-term maintenance on the agenda. Our approach is to select suitable open technology, integrate it with existing systems and make support and ownership explicit. Open source is a choice per component, not a claim about every product.

Projects connecting LaSuite, openDesk and MijnBureau show the practical importance of interoperable workplace services. They inform our focus on migrations, integration and maintainable alternatives that fit daily work.

EU Data Act
Cloud switching and interoperability are central to the Data Act. For services within scope, switching charges are due to end on 12 January 2027. An exit still needs technical preparation: data formats, interfaces, responsibilities and a tested migration plan.
